5TARS is not all about prediction, it is also a Fantasy Football Game! Here we will discuss how the fantasy points work, and how you can use them to your advantage and earn more points!
In order to earn fantasy points, you’ll need to purchase an NFT from our Shop or from the Marketplace. The Shop is where you can purchase a random NFT directly from 5TARS for 5 USDC. Once purchased, your card will be revealed and thus added to your collection. You can also purchase NFT Cards from the Marketplace. These are sold by other 5TARS users in exchange for USDC, the value of which is set by the user selling the card.
Card Boosts
NFT Cards also vary in rareness which will impact the boost multipliers that are applied to your points. There are 3 types of Cards, Players, Managers, and Teams, and each type has 3 variants of rareness, Common, Rare and Legendary.
NFT Card Multiplier Boosts
- Common Cards will add a x1 boost.
- Rare Cards will add a x3 boost.
- Legendary Cards will add a x5 boost.
Fantasy Points
Once you’ve made your predictions, which you can find out more about here, you’ll have the chance to play an NFT Card from your collection. You will need to purchase Training Sessions in order to play your Card in the Arena, which can be purchased in our Shop or earned from completing challenges. You can play up to 9 cards per arena.
Here is how fantasy points are applied after each match:
Players:
- If the Player on your Card has played within the match you’ll earn 1 point.
- If the Player on your Card is on the winning team, you’ll earn 1 point.
- If the Player on your Card scores a goal, you’ll earn 10 points per goal.
- If the Player on your Card assists with scoring a goal, you’ll warm 5 points per assist.
- If the Player on your Card is a goalkeeper and prevents a goal, you’ll earn 10 points.
Managers:
- If the Manager on your Card’s team wins, you’ll earn 5 points.
- If the Manager on your Card’s team’s match results in a draw, you’ll earn 3 points.
- If the Manager on your Card’s team loses the match, you’ll still earn 1 point.
Teams:
- If the Team on your Card wins their match, you’ll earn 10 points.
- If the Team on your Card’s match results in a draw, you’ll earn 5 points.
- If the Team on your Card loses their match, you’ll earn 1 point.
All of the points you earn from your cards will be applied alongside your prediction points, totaling up at the end of the match and then determining your place on the leaderboard. The top 3 players stand a chance to win NFTs that they can use in future Arenas!
